Life of the Party Soaps
Charcoal Clay Mask - 12 oz.
For best results, use with Life of the Party liquid glycerin and water. (Optional: for a more hydrating mask you will also need Life of the Party grapeseed or sweet almond oil. For a scented mask you will need Life of the Party soap fragrance. Do not use candle fragrance in cosmetic products).
The basic ratio is 15 parts clay base, to 2 parts water to 1 part glycerin. For example ½ teaspoon of glycerin, 1 teaspoon of water and 7 ½ teaspoons of clay base (optional: 3 drops of fragrance) will make enough for two face treatments. If you would like to add an oil, you may add ½ part of oil.

Protect your work area. As with any powders, it’s a good idea to work in a well-ventilated area. Gently shake the clay base. Measure out 3 ¼ teaspoons of clay base and place in small measuring cup or bowl. Add ½ teaspoon of water, and ¼ teaspoon of glycerin. If you would like a more hydrating mask add 1/8 teaspoon of sweet almond or grapeseed oil into the mix. (Optional: If you would like a scented mask, add 2-3 drops of a Life of the Party fragrance of your choice.) Mix until well blended. Apply your mask to clean, washed dry or damp skin. Leave on for 15 minutes. (It may not dry completely). Rinse well with lukewarm water. After application, discard any leftover prepared mask base.
